Our Flawless Execution (FLEX) quality management program serves as the basis for a sustainable culture of quality improvement at DB Schenker Contract Logistics.

FLEX represents our approach to business excellence and consists of four modules:

Workflow Excellence improves the quality of our work through harmonized and standardized work processes. A common language and templates speed up processes. Efficient risk management limits exposure to threats. This enables us to achieve a high level of quality as early as the planning phase, as well as secure transitions from planning to implementation.

Operational Excellence utilizes tools such as 5S and Six Sigma for across-the-board process evaluations and improvements in terms of efficiency, effectiveness, and flexibility. We use the results to:

  • Increase customer satisfaction
  • Reduce waste products and process deviations
  • Restructure activities that don’t generate added value

Eco Excellence increases ecological efficiency in existing warehouse operations in order to enable us to offer our customers environmentally friendly services:

  • Consideration of energy efficiency in all operating processes
  • Use of alternative energy sources
  • Introduction of green standards in order to minimize CO² emissions

Knowledge Excellence supports individual employee development and actively promotes the transfer of managerial and technical knowledge throughout the entire customer lifecycle. Both contract logistics professionals and young potentials participate in various training programs and attain qualifications that you benefit from as the customer.
